Sigma is a company that develops new ways to learn code by combining a dedicated team with an easy to use interface. They want to convey a sense of strong leadership and trust.
The sketching process led to the idea of a word coming out of somewhere to represent "coding" by creation. The final logo has reflective edges with its underlying meaning of "bugs", which often happen in coding, and a bolt and edgy created typeface that works very well with showing strong leadership. The choice of colouring was to present a fresh and calm identity that can be used well for interfaces.
